Based in Peckham Rye, family-run Bánh Bánh serve up authentic Vietnamese cuisine including delicious vegan options which are clearly marked.
If you haven’t been to Yo! Sushi before you definitely should, it’s a great experience. Conveyor belts with food whizzing by and buttons at your table when you require assistance (push it, it’ll make you chuckle!). This place is interesting before you’ve even received the food.
After visiting a few of Mitchells and Butlers ‘Premium Country Pubs’ previously, I was signed up to their mailing list and received an email earlier this week with the announcement of their vegan menu – Wowee! I have tried some of their food when I wasn’t vegan and it was always amazing but since going vegan it was so disappointing. Having to just order plain salads is so not me and can be super dull but now, things have changed!
I’ve heard so many great things about Ms. Cupcake and as someone with a sweet tooth, I was so happy to finally try some of their products at Vegfest London. I grabbed a cupcake while there which was lovely, but the real star of the show for me was their Nanaimo bar. I had not heard of this sweet treat before… HOW?!
When getting together friends for a Christmas meal out, I was slightly worried about vegan options, as most places serve your typical Christmas dinner of turkey/chicken. When looking online, a lot of vegetarian options had cheese in them, which was a pain, until I came across the Christmas menu at Bill’s!
I recently turned 24 and I received the present of vegan afternoon tea at Ethos from one of my best friends to celebrate. Leading up to this I was so excited; online the restaurant looked so beautiful and in person it was even better. Weirdly I couldn’t find a lot about this online, so I thought writing about my experience would be useful for all the vegans out there missing out on afternoon tea!
