As someone with a super sweet tooth, when going vegan I remember being worried. I obviously knew about dark chocolate with no dairy, but I was sure I could no longer have sweets.
Pick n mix seemed like a thing of the past. Sure, I’ve come across random vegan bits and bobs and gelatine-free gummies, but never a full range, until I heard about Sweet & Kind.
Sweet & Kind are a family run business based in Surrey who produce cute little sweeties and are on a mission to be as environmentally friendly as possible, using compostable cellophane bags, glass jars and recycled boxes.
I came across Sweet & Kind through the amazing Surrey Vegan Market in Walton and was immediately intrigued. These products seem like the perfect idea for any occasion – In the cinema, as a gift, nibbles when friends are over or even when you’re just simply craving something sweet.
I couldn’t believe how wide their product range is too, from Flying Saucers to fully loaded hampers, there really is something for everyone and every occasion.
I was lucky enough to be sent one of Sweet & Kind’s beautiful Pick & Mix Boxes to review. Firstly, I cannot explain how aesthetically pleasing these boxes are. They look so satisfying and colourful – I absolutely couldn’t wait to delve right in!
With a mix of accidentally vegan sweets such as Skittles, Love Hearts and Rainbow Drops to gelatine free sweets, there an excellent range of goodies to choose from!
My favourites from this box were the Rainbow Drops (what a throwback!) and the gummy strawberries which had the most amazing, juicy flavour.
Overall, I absolutely love the product and also, the whole concept of the company. They, like their products, seem so sweet and are always updating their range, so definitely follow them on Instagram to stay up to date! There is a real personal, handmade feel with this company, it’s not just another vegan food company.
Which of their sweets would you like to try the most? Let me know in the comments!
