When visiting the beautiful area of Alcudia on a day trip whilst on holiday, I knew this town wasn’t the biggest so presumed I wouldn’t find any vegan food. Thanks to the trusty Happy Cow app, I was proven wrong and got to visit the cute, organic cafe that is Verde Teja.
Hidden down some beautiful little side streets, Verdeteja was an absolute blessing to visit. The lovely lady (I presume the owner) was so helpful in pointing out the vegan options which included corguette soup, pizza, lasagna with salad and buddha bowls to name but a few. It was definitely going to be a difficult decision but as I was going to be walking around the town, I went for a slice of the pizza for ease.
This pizza had a wholemeal style base with delicious chopped veggies on top. It was great, very easy to walk with and so flavoursome – The onion had a real kick!
I chose to wash this pizza down with some home made almond milk which was truly phenomenal. The lady was so kind and offered some agave to add for sweetness. The milk was so creamy and very refreshing on a hot day – A real treat!
Along with a great selection of food, Verdeteja had shelves full of organic vegan/veggie goods including agave nectar, coconut chips, aloe vera, Pulsin protein powders and more!
Overall, I absolutely loved Verdeteja and will definitely be revisiting. It is definitely worth travelling to this beautiful town for a day out if you’re staying in Mallorca, especially for this great little place!
