Free entry to an event? How?! There were so many amazing brands under one roof, so don’t question it, just go!
I arrived to some hustle and bustle but no queue at all, just a few people printing off tickets in one area. I was very surprised, for a free event I thought it would be queuing out of the door but I think I timed my arrival just right!
I tried out so many great products and if I listed them all, this post would be endless, so here’s some of my faves from the day!
Gosh – Their beetroot bites were so lush! The perfect little snack with some dip, or I can imagine these working well on a salad too.
Perkier – Meeting Ann Perkins, Co-Founder at Perkier was such a delight. What a lovely lady, she even put my friend and I on their Instagram story which was a good laugh! I’d tried their Coconut & Chia Quinoa Bar before but after trying to Cacao & Cashew and Peanut bars, I know I’m going to have to try the whole range! Also, they have got a range of quinoa porridge pots coming out which sound delicious, do love a bit of quinoa in my porridge!
Nush – Great to see Nush were there selling their new cheeses along with their almond and cashew yoghurts.
Wing Yip – So pleased to see one of my all time favourite food shops cooking up a storm! Whenever I see Wing Yip at events they are always showing off their jackfruit and giving out tasters – It was great to see people trying and enjoying it!
Oumph! – Meeting some of the amazing team at Oumph! was truly inspiring. I already love their products so it was great to meet the hardworking team behind it all. Their stand and cooking demo area was amazing, people were obviously so excited about their products. Full review coming soon!
Abakus Foods – I’d never tried jujube fruit before (what a cute name!) but the Crunchy Jujube Crisps by Abakus were lovely, super sweet and had a great texture – These would definitely get rid of any sugar cravings!
Booja Booja – That teeny weeny van I’d forever seen online was finally in front of me! I was so excited and got a scoop of the salted caramel (for the first meal of my day, oops!) and oh wow, it was bloody amazing! So rich and creamy, think I’m going to have to get my hands on a full sized tub!
Forced To Be Fussy – What a beautiful stand with so many options for vegans and people who are gluten free, along with cute cards and tshirts! I especially loved the slogan “Sticky cakes not belly aches”
Fraw – Convenient smoothie mixes with cute packaging. The green one was delicious, packed full of goodness and super sweet!
Lazy Day Foods – One of my favourite brands to go to for sweet treats. I purchased some of their Peppermint Slices which I hadn’t tried before and I am in love! They are so super sweet which I love – Perfect with a cuppa!
Pebbles Pantry – The lovely owner, Vivian, drew me in to try a slice of the vegan chocolate cake which was lush – So gooey and rich! Vivian was super sweet, just like her cake and I wish I’d purchased a packet of it now! Check out their branding too – Super cute!
Pulsin – One of my favourite brands, ever! You need to try their mint or orange protein bars, they’re so filling and delicious. Add them to your shopping list, now!
Asda – Showing off their free from goods, I just had to get my hands on a sample of their vegan cheese as I’d heard so many good things about it and damn, it lived up to expectations! I can’t wait to buy a block and get cooking with it.
Riverside Spirits – What beautiful packaging and clearly marked as vegan! If you know me, you’ll know I love trying out new booze, so obviously I had to try the different flavours. The raspberry gin liqueur was delish!
Follow Your Heart – Absolutely love this brand. I’d seen so many good reviews of the smoked gouda slices – Sampled and purchased within seconds, phenomenal! I haven’t tried such a good vegan smoked cheese. I also got a free pot of their parmesan which I’m looking forward to trying!
Beebs – Cute name, amazing team and delicious products. These beautifully handmade products are full of goodness and flavour, the perfect snack! Full review coming soon, watch this space!
Coffee and Cheese – These guys always have the best range of all things vegan – meats, cheese, cream – You name it, they’ve got it! Check ’em out!
Baking Bad – I remembered these lovely sweet treats from Vegfest last year so was pleased to see this stall again. The owner is so friendly and her products are great, please do check them out!
The Waffle Shack – Some amazing looking waffles using Oumph!, what a fab idea! Wish I’d have tried them out… Perhaps one day we will cross paths again so I can stuff my face!
Anandas – I’d always seen and heard a lot about this brand and their round up’s. so I finally bit the bullet and got my hands on some of their products! Perfect for someone with a sweet tooth like me, review coming soon!
My Dessert Spoon – A cute stand and beautiful cakes. I was given a sample of their chilli jam and was immediately sold – It’s gorgeous! I knew my boyfriend would love it.
I’m really looking forward to going along again next year. Not only was the Just V Show amazing, all of the other sections were great too with vegan products clearly labelled across the whole event. Very interesting products from food to alcohol to kitchen gadgets – Definitely worth going to!
