Boho Gelato, Weymouth Review | Eating Out Vegan

With a cutesy logo and an ideal location in town, Boho Gelato is the place to go in Weymouth for a sweet treat!

Boho Gelato was established in 2010 by Seb Cole, initially with a store in Brighton. This has since expanded into four stores, another in Brighton, one in Worthing and finally the lovely store in Weymouth that I had the privilege of visiting.

I first visited around a year ago and had a scoop of a Nutella style vegan gelato and fell in love – That taste is one I will never forget! I just had to return and get a review written up,Β everyone needs to visit one of Boho’s stores!

Boho Gelato’s flavours change regularly, with four vegan options on offer at all times. This time when visiting the vegan options were passion fruit & vanilla, peanut butter & salted caramel, lychee & mint and ‘neardy’ grape. A very tough decision (I wanted them all!) but I finally decided on the peanut butter & salted caramel and oh my, it was phenomenal!

The gelato was super creamy, even non vegans would enjoy the vegan options, you wouldn’t even know the difference!

Gelato can be ordered in a tub, a plain cone (clearly marked as dairy and gluten free) or there are dairy free choco cones – How awesome! There is also the option to have an affogato too which sounds just fabulous, imagine peanut butter & salted caramel in that!

Now, Boho Gelato does have a beautiful area to sit in and enjoy your gelato, but there;s also the option to purchase takeaway tubs at 0.5 litre, 0.75 litre or a whopping 1 litre! As I was only visiting for the day, I knew it would melt before I got home, so I will have to return soon, stay locally and indulge!

Have you been to Boho Gelato before? If so, let me know what flavours you’ve tried!

* ALTHOUGH I HAVE STATED THESE ARE VEGAN OPTIONS, I CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT THERE IS NO CROSS CONTAMINATION. PLEASE CONTACT THE RESTAURANT ITSELF FOR MORE INFORMATION.
