I’d seen Buddha Beauty all over Twitter and have followed them for a while, so when I got the chance to review their products I was super excited.
Buddha Beauty are a beauty salon based in Manchester that also sell vegan, cruelty free products such as body scrubs, bath salts, skincare, candles and reed diffusers.
As someone with not so good skin I am always interested in trying new skincare products, especially if they are vegan and cruelty free. I still find it so frustrating that so many brands use non-vegan products and test on animals. It is not necessary, so I am very grateful for brands like Buddha Beauty.
I absolutely adore the packaging of this moisturiser, it’s so simple and sleek. The pump being included really adds a touch of luxury for this product which is an affordable price at £12 for 50ml.
This product is clearly marked with the Vegan Society logo on the front which is a great touch, makes life so much easier and by having it on the front, shows its importance!

Another great element of this packaging is the directions of use on the back. As someone with an interest in makeup/skincare to see a brand advising to moisturise the neck and avoid the eye area makes me so happy. You really wouldn’t believe the amount of people that don’t know either of these elements for when applying skincare products, so it’s super helpful.
Now, onto the product itself!
I’ve been using this now for around a week, twice everyday and so far I am impressed. The scent is very faint which I like, slightly sweet and florally. I’m not usually a massive fan of floral scented products but this was lovely, not overpowering at all.
When pumping this product out it has a medium consistency (not too thick, not too thin), so when applying to the skin it felt very light, so makeup glided well over it and it wasn’t too heavy on the face before bed either.
A little goes a long way with this product, so for £12 I do think this is a very reasonable price. If you’re looking to switch up your skincare I would recommend trying this out.

Have you tried any products by Buddha Beauty? What should I be trying out next?
